Need To Know

Clean with a damp microfiber cloth with soapy water in the same direction of any rows. Wipe down with a dry microfiber cloth until completely dry. Keep in a dry place. If combining with a plant, always use a suitable saucer to catch excess drainage water. Avoid direct sunlight as it may cause fading.

Due to the natural rigidity of Kubu cane and the structural tension that occurs at right angles, splitting at the corners of square/rectangular baskets is a common and expected characteristic. This does not affect the integrity or durability of the basket and is considered a normal aspect of working with natural, handwoven materials and not considered a fault.

WHAT TYPE OF DELIVERY SERVICE SHOULD I EXPECT?

The majority of our products are sent via our regular delivery partners such as Australia Post, Direct Freight and Couriers Please. Once dispatched, you will be contacted directly by them informing you of the status of your delivery. Note that these are common parcel carriers and it is not possible to nominate specific delivery dates and times.

Where possible we suggest you tick the authority to leave box in the checkout to avoid potential complications and delays in redelivery or the requirement to collect from a depot.

WHAT'S THE WAIT ON DELIVERIES?

We aim to dispatch all available stock within two business days. We ship from Melbourne, and delivery times vary widely depending on many factors including geographical location, size of order and demand on the delivery network. Public holidays and busy shopping periods such as Black Friday, Christmas and New Year Sales will affect dispatch and delivery times.

Orders containing more than one item may need to be shipped in two or more parcels. It is common for parcels to become separated during transit resulting in multiple deliveries over several days.

Avignon is made from Kubu rattan, a sustainable species of cane that grows abundantly and wild in many areas of South East Asia. After harvesting, it is sun dried and then soaked in a natural water bath, which makes it pliable for weaving and produces the distinctive, warm colour.

It's Only Natural

Made by hand using natural materials, each piece in the Wicka collection is unique. It is normal for handcrafted products to vary slightly in size. Please allow a variance in quoted product dimensions of 15% when making a decision for your space.
